Jan Harlan

Jan Harlan, grandson of a Portuguese man, Carlos de Freitas, became an international treasure, part of a legend. He was family, best friends, and co-creator with arguably the world's greatest filmmaker to date, who unfortunately is gone – Stanley Kubrick.
Jan Harlan directed the fabulous documentary about his life "Stanley Kubrick, a Life in Pictures" and was the executive producer of “The shining”, “Full Metal Jacket”, “Eyes Wide Shut” and cooperates on “Clockwork Orange”. He also cooperates with Steven Spielberg on the film “Artificial Intelligence”.
Participants of this workshop will have the unique opportunity of having an intimate discussion with Jan about Kubrick's films. An afternoon also will be set aside for Jan to show clips from and discuss music in Kubrick's films. Don't miss this very special one-time engagement.
